Important Information

Legolas is “as tall as a young tree” (somewhere around 6‘10, but it’s quite fuzzy--let's just call him "tall") and has long hair which he wears back with plain braids over his ears so as to not get his hair caught in his bow. His culture (that of the Wood Elves of Mirkwood) does not consider position too deeply (except for a respect for the Elvenking), thus he wears no sign of royalty. As canon never mentions it, I would prefer if hair color is not brought into the picture—just humour me :).  He is a tenor (the voices of the Elves are "like bells" when they speak their own language. They're pretty melodic when speaking any language, though).

He is “fair of face beyond that of mortal men” which is a beauty that I see as more “other” than... hot (for lack of a better adjective). He also has the starlit eyes and far sight of his kindred—he can tell the difference between a sparrow and finch at approximately 3.5 miles. He can also see the spirits of people to a certain extent, though not as well or as strongly as one of the Elves who lived in the Elder Days, or has been to the Undying West. (He cannot tell that most dead Milliways patrons are dead; he could tell if they were ghosts—I’ll ping you)

These are the main qualities that would likely be noticed as the ears are only slightly tilted back and slightly pointed.
Legolas does not look like either Jesse Spencer or Orlando Bloom, or any characters PB’d by them.

As he is an Elf, Legolas has a spirit that burns more brightly than that of a human’s. If you have a character that would notice this and you have questions, please ping me at TLvop on AIM.

Also: Legolas very likely will laugh at/tease your pup. This is not an indication of my personal feelings towards you or your characters in any way! Legolas is just a Wood Elf, and kind of a brat :).

Practice! With Wellard

A young Elf*, dressed in sturdy green and brown cloth and soft leather shoes, walks into the bar.

It can, perhaps, be forgive if his first reaction is wariness and his hand flicks towards the white handled knife at his belt.

Then he laughs.

"A tavern of Men, in the middle of the forest? I have not heard tell of this."

*see (here) for description of Elves, and Legolas in particular.
